Nancy Cruces Jenkins

Nancy Cruces Jenkins, age 43, of Harrisburg , North Carolina, tragically passed away in a motor vehicle accident in Ladysmith, VA on Friday, November 10, 2017 while traveling to Annandale, VA for an early Thanksgiving celebration at grandpa's house. She was an amazing wife, of 18 years (November 20th), to David Jenkins and devoted mother to Kimberly (age 16), Daniella (age 11) and Katie Jenkins (age 9) of Harrisburg, NC. Nancy was born in Lima, Peru to Arnaldo and Irene Cruces on July 5, 1974 and grew up in Woodbridge, VA. Nancy worked at Novant Health, where she had countless friends. Besides her husband and her daugters, Nancy leaves behind her beloved sisters Sofia, Shirley and Eliana Cruces; her cherished brothers Alfredo and Ronald Cruces; five beloved nieces and nine cherished nephews, as well as two brother-in-law’s, two sister-in-law’s, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. Nancy was an incredible wife, mother and person who loved spending time with her family. She loved the beach and enjoyed her yearly camping trips with her husband, daughters and close friends. She also enjoyed watching her daughters play sports, baking cakes with her daughters and having date nights with her husband, however her main focus in life was preparing her daughters to be self-sufficient and successful in the future. She loved spending time with her friends and family. Please join us in celebrating her life on Thursday November 16th 2017 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 14160 Ferndale Rd. Woodbridge, VA 22193 where a mass will begin at 11 AM. Burial will be held at Pleasant Valley Memorial Park, 8420 Little River Turnpike Annandale VA. 22003 following the Mass at 1 PM.
