Jessica Nicole Beatty

Jessica Beatty, 51, of Alexandria, Virginia, passed away unexpectedly on July 24, 2026. Born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Jessica grew up in Sarasota, Florida. Her adventurous spirit led her to live abroad in France and the Netherlands before spending time in Atlanta, Georgia, and ultimately making her home in Alexandria, Virginia. No matter where life took her, she had a gift for making friends and building meaningful and lasting relationships. Jessica’s career in information technology gave her the opportunity to build the life she loved—one filled with travel, new experiences, and the flexibility to explore the world. She believed life’s greatest treasures weren’t things, but the memories made with family and friends along the way. A proud graduate of Florida State University, Jessica remained a lifelong Seminoles fan. Saturdays in the fall were reserved for cheering on FSU, and Sundays were for rooting on her beloved Baltimore Ravens. Her son, Logan was the center of Jessica’s world. She was endlessly proud of the young man he had become and loved him beyond measure. Whether celebrating life’s milestones or sharing everyday moments, being his mom brought her the greatest joy. Jessica will be remembered for her kind heart, adventurous spirit, quick wit, and ability to make people feel at home. She leaves behind countless memories that will continue to bring comfort, laughter, and smiles to all who knew and loved her. Jessica was preceded in death by her sister, Kristina Beatty and her father, Frank Beatty. She is survived by her beloved son, Logan Friedel of Alexandria, Virginia; her mother, Kristy Lindsey of Sarasota, Florida; her sisters, Sarah Hall and Laura Beatty, both of Sarasota, Florida; and many extended family members and friends who will miss her deeply. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at the Jefferson Funeral Chapel, 5755 Castlewellan Drive, Alexandria, VA 22325.
