In loving memory of Jeanne Marie Seiberling, who gracefully earned her angel wings at the age of 75 on March 23, 2024, in Occoquan, Virginia. Surrounded by the embrace of family and friends during her final days, Jeanne leaves behind a legacy of warmth and vitality that touched countless lives. Her unwavering zest for life and deep-rooted faith illuminated her journey, inspiring all who knew her. A funeral mass honoring Jeanne will take place at St. Raymond of Peñafort Roman Catholic Church, 8750 Pohick Rd, Springfield, Virginia, on Thursday, April 11 at 11:00 AM, followed by an interment ceremony at Historic St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 5612 Ox Rd (Rt 123), Fairfax, VA. Family and close friends are warmly invited to join in remembrance. A reception celebrating Jeanne's life will be held from 4 to 7 PM on April 11 at the Electric Palm, 12745 Sea Ray Lane, Woodbridge, Virginia. Born on August 8, 1948, in Akron, Ohio, to Irene A. and Michael A. Krosnick, Jeanne's journey unfolded with purpose and passion. After graduating from Garfield High School in Akron, she embarked on a lifelong partnership with her beloved husband, Walter E. Seiberling, an esteemed officer in the United States Army. Jeanne's vivacious spirit and fearlessness led her to embrace new adventures with open arms. As a devoted mother to her children, Walter and Stacy, she instilled values of compassion and resilience. Her dedication to community service knew no bounds, as she generously shared her talents and time with numerous organizations, including her impactful work within the Military Archdiocese. Throughout the challenges of military life, Jeanne's tenacity shone brightly, creating a home filled with joy and love for her family. Her compassionate nature, boundless energy, and enthusiasm for life endeared her to all who crossed her path. Jeanne is survived by her siblings: Michael Krosnick, Ronald Krosnick, and Janet (Krosnick) Ross. The legacy of her life is celebrated by her daughter, Stacy Seiberling and her children, Johnathan Fleming, Joseph Fleming and Jacob Fleming, her son, Walter Seiberling, his wife Cara Seiberling and their children Tessa Seiberling and Audrey Seiberling. Her memory lives on through her grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a multitude of friends and neighbors. In honoring Jeanne's life, let us carry forward her legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering faith. She will forever remain in our hearts as a beacon of light and inspiration. No flowers please.
