Wayne Neil Scott (born October 5, 1940) died on Friday, November 26, 2021. He is survived by his wife Carol, his daughters Sheila Scott, Lisa Whittington and Kim Duff, his son-in-law David Duff, his grandchildren Ashleigh Scott, Shelby Khan, Paul Whittington Jr. (PJ), Lindsay Duff, and Nathan Whittington, as well as his great grandson Brayden Griffith. He was predeceased by his great grandson Izaiah Wayne. Wayne had been suffering from end stage renal disease for several years as well as diabetes and numerous other health challenges. The void he will leave in our lives is immeasurable but we know he is finally at peace. We love you beyond words Grumpy. Services for Wayne will be held at Jefferson Funeral Chapel at 5755 Castlewellan Dr, Alexandria, VA 22315 on Wednesday, December, 1 at 11:00AM. A visitation will be held Tuesday, November, 30 from 3-8PM. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to National Kidney Foundation ( https://www.kidney.org/ ) or the Fredericksburg SPCA ( https://fredspca.org/ )
