Vicki Louise Kemp, a loving wife, beloved grandmother, great-grandmother and homemaker, died peacefully at her home on December 26, 2020. She was 75 years old. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all who knew her. Vicki is survived by her husband, Lt. Col Victor Michael Kemp (Mike), USAF, Ret., and their four sons; Timothy J. Kemp (Shannon), David A. Kemp (Kimberly), Reuben M. Kemp (Malissa), Joshua N. Kemp (Katie), her daughter Heather M. Kent (Allen); 15 grandchildren; Austin, Parker, Victory Kemp; 2LT Brennan Kemp, USA, Elise Tanner, Alison, Jillian Kemp; Dylan, Brooke Meyer, Mason, Jordan Kemp; Ethan, Ella Kemp; Hailey Dice, Ava Kent. She also had 3 great grandchildren; Layla Kemp, Luke Meyer, and Jack Tanner. She is also survived by her brothers Michael Holbrook, Lynn Holbrook, Roger Holbrook and her sister Cheryl Cosentino. She is predeceased by her father, Truman Holbrook, her mother, Helen Bjorkman Holbrook and her brother, Robert Holbrook. Vicki was born in Afton, Wyoming on May 5th, 1945 to Truman and Helen Holbrook. She graduated from Thomas Downey High School in Modesto, CA and attended Brigham Young University for 3 years. As a young lady, Vicki sang in the ladies choir and loved to ballroom dance. She was a loving sister and daughter to her parents and siblings. Vicki was married to Victor Michael Kemp on August 20, 1966 in the Oakland California LDS temple for time and all eternity. Vicki was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. In her early years she loved to scrap-book and craft. She loved to decorate for every holiday and made each one so special for her children. She was also an avid reader who enjoyed many different genres. She was a researcher and knowledgeable on many subjects. Vicki was a spiritual woman who believed deeply in the beliefs of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Above all, she cared for each one of her family members and loved spending time with them. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at 11:00 a.m, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints; 6219 Villa St, Alexandria VA. Her burial will take place immediately following at 1:30 p.m. at the Quantico National Cemetery, in Triangle, VA. Flowers may be sent to the Jefferson Funeral Chapel, 5755 Castlewellan Drive, Alexandria, VA 22315. In lieu of flowers, donations may also be sent to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
