Obituary for Suzuko Nagai Yale

Suzuko Nagi Yale was born in Guma, Japan on February 25, 1929. She was called home to our Lord on October 29, 2018. She was 89 years young and was very active in life. Suzuko was an Army spouse, who supported and raised her children during her husband’s long deployments during WWII, Korean War and Vietnam War. She became a US citizen and was a devout Roman Catholic. She was a homemaker and raised two wonderful daughters.
She is survived by her brother Sabdo Nagi, in Japan and her loving and supportive daughter Patricia (Patty) Longo and her husband Edward Longo of Meadville, PA. She is also survived by her three grandchildren: Stacey Cook of Roanoke, VA; Casey (Longo) Minor and her husband Ryan Minor of Stephens City, VA and Edward (Eddie) J.O. Longo of Aberdeen, MD. Survived by her six great grandchildren: Dylan Wood, Jonah Wood, Sofia Anders, Adriana Minor, Amelia Minor and Ryan E. Minor. Two Sister in laws: Alma Yale and Marie Yale of Hazleton, PA. Many nieces and nephews in the USA and Japan.
She was married to Albert Yale who proceeded her in death. She was also proceeded in death by her loving and supportive daughter Susan Cook & her husband LeRoy (Al) Cook.
Special Thanks to Delores Minor, her close friend, who cared and loved her so very much. Also, thank you to all associated with Morris Glen, who she loved and helped look after her during her later years of life.
There will be a memorial service on December 14, 2018 at 11 am at Morris Glenn in Alexandria, VA. She will be laid to rest in Arlington National Cemetery next to her late husband at a date to be determined.
