Miguel Angel Garcia was called home to his Lord and Savior on June 27, 2022 after a life full of love and dedication to his family and friends. Miguel Garcia was born August 6, 1961 in El Salvador where he lived until he immigrated to the United States in his teenage years. Miguel would later come to meet and wed his wife Elsa and raise his three children, Lorena, Karen, and Steven. Miguel was raised in Chirilagua, Departamento de San Miguel, El Salvador alongside his two sisters. From a young age Miguel learned to have a love of nature and agriculture from his family. Miguel ultimately immigrated to the United States in the hope of better opportunities and to survive a country at war. Miguel immediately began to study English and work hard in order to achieve his American dream. Miguel met and fell in love with his wife Elsa. They went on to reside throughout the northern Virginia area where they raised their three children. Over the years he instilled in his family a love for nature, love for the Salvadoran culture, and a love for each other. He made many memories through trips home to El Salvador, enjoying days on the beach, and spending time as a family. Miguel was happiest when surrounded by those he loved. While working different trades Miguel discovered his passion, talent and love for the landscaping and hardscaping industry. Miguel found joy in creating beautiful outdoor spaces for others to enjoy with their loved ones for years to come. He carried this passion with him throughout his entire career and into his retirement. Miguel was known for being a dedicated spouse, father, and grandfather, a skilled listener, and a hard worker. Miguel was a dependable and loyal friend, known for being a man of his word. He was a man of peace, with a kind and generous heart. He had a gentle spirit that touched all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Miguel Garcia is survived by his mother Pacita Diaz, his wife Elsa Garcia, his three children Lorena Cruz (Tito), Karen Garcia (Jag), and Michael Steven Garcia. He also leaves behind five grandchildren, Louis Anthony, Biani, Ayden, Kristina, and Matthew, as well as his two sisters, Nohemy Caballero and Maria Candelaria Chavez. Miguel was a man who had dedicated his life fully to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and will be deeply missed by family, friends, and all who love him.
