Kristen Brooke Ella

Kristen Brooke Ella (34) Of Alexandria, Virginia, passed December 5, 2025. She is the beloved wife of Matthew Robert Ella; loving mother of Lukas Dane Ella, Griffin David Ella, and Rebecca Kay Ella; cherished daughter of Cliff and Sue Clement; sister of Matthew Clement. Kristen was born in Burbank California on February 26, 1991 and spent her childhood living in Glendale, CA. From age 6 months, Kristen displayed an amazing amount of strength and determination, while wearing a brace that kept her legs split at her knees, yet she managed to walk at 10 months. Those traits defined her throughout her life. With her family she later moved to Livermore, California, where she attended middle school and high school, graduating from Granada High School in 2009. During her life she enjoyed and excelled at a variety of athletic endeavours including basketball, water polo, and snowboarding. Kristen married Matthew Ella October 8, 2016 in Baltimore, Maryland, where they started their family. They later moved to San Antonio, Texas in 2018 and bought their first home together. In 2021 they relocated to Alexandria, Virginia and remained here until her passing. Kristen was a light to everyone she came across. She was a loving, caring, silly, wonderful person. She loved her family immensely, and had big plans for them. From a very young age she loved her church and stayed active in that community as much as she could. Before she passed, she was working on her degree in Nonprofit Management, with an intent to further support those in need. She loved any mountain high enough to snowboard down, and any body of water big enough to swim in. She loved competing in the daily Wordle long after most people stopped caring about it. She loved the whole spectrum of Real Housewives shows, and just about anything with superheroes. She loved music and dancing. Her memory will remain a light in the lives she touched for years to come. Kristen is survived by her husband Matthew, sons Lukas (age 8), Griffin (age 6), and daughter Rebecca (age 3), parents Cliff and Sue Clement, brother and sister in law Matthew and Carolyn Clement, along with a nephew and niece.
