Obituary for Judith S. Bregman

Judith Bregman of Springfield, Virginia passed peacefully at home Saturday June 2, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She is the beloved wife of Robert L. Bregman. Bob and Judy married three months after a blind date and spent 65 wonderful years together. Judy is the loving mother of Keith Bregman (Lisa), Leslie Bregman (Arthur), David Bregman, and Steve Bregman (Lynn); Cherished Bubbie of eight and great- bubbie of two. Judy always had a twinkle in her eyes. She lived for her family, friends and cooking. Her recipes are coveted and will long be cherished. Judy was a magnificent quilter and knitter. She volunteered her time and skills to many causes, knitting caps for newborns at Alexandria Hospital and recently volunteering in elementary school reading programs in Fairfax County. She was truly vibrant and unconditionally loved her family and friends. We loved our Bubbie and will dearly miss her. A funeral service will be held at Agudas Achim Congregation, 2908 Valley Drive, Alexandria, VA 22302 on Tuesday, June 5 at 11:30AM. Interment King David Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Judy's name to Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org.
